Customized Internet Mapping and Picturing (CIMAP) is a tool that describes the connectivity and relationship among the Autonomous System(AS)s in the Internet.

CIMAP can extract information such as the Internet connectivity and inter-domain routing, and present them in a user-friendly way.  Therefore we hope it may be helpful in diagnosing and locating Internet routing problem for network administrators and researchers.

Most of the data used by CIMAP are obtained from the BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) routing archives that are publicly available. A small portion are from other auxiliary sources.  The data maintained at MNIL lab are updated weekly.
